Our Story
It all began when one of our founding team—let’s call him Aarav—was in college, juggling classes, labs, seminars and wondering: “How many lectures can I miss and still keep my percentage above the required threshold?” He found himself scribbling sheets, checking calendars, trying to keep up. There had to be a better way. That’s when the idea of My Attendance Calculator came to life.
Aarav brought on board his friend Sanya—who has a knack for making interfaces that anyone can use—and together they built an early version of the tool. It had the basics: total lectures, missed lectures, percentage calculation. Soon they realised other students, tutors and staff faced the same frustration: manually tracking attendance is prone to error, stressful to update, and often confusing.
So they expanded the tool: now you can enter your total classes, number of classes missed, allowed absences, and instantly see where you stand. We added extra features like “how many more classes can I miss and still be safe”, or “how many extra lectures do I need to attend to reach X %”. Month by month, feedback by feedback, we refined it. Today, My Attendance Calculator serves users who want to stay on top of their attendance with clarity and peace of mind.
